By downloading, installing, accessing, or using ClickRoutine, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ClickRoutine.1. Description of the ServiceClickRoutine is a browser automation tool that allows users to create, record, edit, import, export, convert, schedule, and run browser-based automations.ClickRoutine also includes optional AI automation features that can connect to user-configured local or cloud AI providers.ClickRoutine is currently free to use. We may change, add, remove, or limit features over time.2. EligibilityYou must be at least 13 years old to use ClickRoutine. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use ClickRoutine only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.By using ClickRoutine, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.3. Your ResponsibilitiesYou agree to:- Provide accurate and current information when you contact us
- Keep your device, browser profile, exports, backups, and any connected API credentials reasonably secure
- Promptly notify us at [email protected] if you believe your use of ClickRoutine or your related data has been compromised
You are responsible for activity performed using your device, except to the extent caused by our own misconduct.4. PricingClickRoutine is currently provided for free. Third-party providers you choose to connect, including AI providers, may charge you under their own pricing terms.If we introduce paid ClickRoutine offerings in the future, we will provide applicable pricing and billing terms at that time.5. License to Use ClickRoutineSubject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use ClickRoutine for your internal personal or business use.You may not:- Copy, distribute, sublicense, lease, sell, or resell ClickRoutine except as expressly permitted by us in writing
- Remove proprietary notices
- Use ClickRoutine in a way that infringes our intellectual property rights or the rights of others
We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.6. Your Automations and ContentYou retain ownership of the automations, screenshots, exports, prompts, and other content you create using ClickRoutine.If you voluntarily send us automations, screenshots, logs, exports, prompts, or other materials for support, debugging, or troubleshooting, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and analyze that material solely to provide support, operate the service, improve the product, and protect the service and our users.You are solely responsible for:- The websites, systems, and AI providers you choose to use with ClickRoutine
- The data you choose to record, paste, extract, export, import, convert, or transmit using ClickRoutine
- Reviewing imported, converted, or AI-generated automations before running them
7. AI FeaturesClickRoutine's AI features are optional. If you use them:- You must provide your own AI provider access, which may include a local endpoint, third-party account, API key, billing relationship, or model access
- You authorize ClickRoutine to send the prompts, page context, and optional screenshot fallback data needed to operate the AI automation feature to the provider endpoint you configured
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the AI provider and any data you send to it complies with applicable law, the provider's terms, and any obligations you owe to the websites or users whose data is involved
- You understand that AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable and must be reviewed before use
We do not control third-party AI providers' availability, retention, training, pricing, security, or privacy practices.8. Acceptable UseYou agree to use ClickRoutine only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms.You must not use ClickRoutine to:- Violate any law, regulation, court order, or third-party right
- Access, collect, scrape, store, or process personal data unlawfully
- Circumvent security controls, access restrictions, authentication safeguards, rate limits, CAPTCHAs, or anti-bot protections without authorization
- Commit fraud, phishing, spam, credential theft, malware distribution, or other harmful conduct
- Interfere with, disrupt, damage, or degrade websites, networks, services, or systems
- Use ClickRoutine in a way that breaches the terms, policies, or rules of a website, service, or AI provider you use
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from ClickRoutine except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law
- Use ClickRoutine to create or distribute malicious automations, deceptive imported automation packages, or abusive AI prompts and workflows
Imported, converted, and AI-generated automations are used at your own risk.9. Third-Party Services and WebsitesClickRoutine interacts with third-party websites and may rely on third-party infrastructure or service providers in connection with our website, support, or other business operations. ClickRoutine may also connect to third-party or self-hosted AI providers that you choose to configure.Those third parties operate independently from us and are governed by their own terms, policies, and practices.We are not responsible for:- The availability, content, security, pricing, or behavior of third-party websites or services
- Changes to third-party websites that cause automations to fail
- AI provider downtime, quality issues, model changes, quotas, or billing charges
- Actions taken against you by third parties because of how you use ClickRoutine
10. Service Availability and ChangesClickRoutine may change over time. We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or impose limits on any part of the service at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.We do not guarantee that:- ClickRoutine will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free
- Automations will succeed on every website or continue to work after a website changes
- AI-generated automations or AI decisions will be accurate or appropriate
- Any feature will remain available indefinitely
- ClickRoutine will be compatible with every browser version, operating system, device, model provider, or AI endpoint
You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of any exports, backups, screenshots, or important automation data you wish to preserve.11. Intellectual PropertyClickRoutine, including its software, branding, website content, design elements, documentation, and related materials, is owned by Insert Click LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of ClickRoutine or our intellectual property to you.12. Disclaimer of WarrantiesTO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLICKROUTINE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CLICKROUTINE WILL BE SECURE, ERROR-FREE, FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY AUTOMATION, IMPORT, CONVERSION, OR AI OUTPUT WILL PRODUCE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR DESIRED RESULTS.13. Limitation of LiabilityTO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSERT CLICK LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO CLICKROUTINE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO CLICKROUTINE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:- THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR CLICKROUTINE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR
- FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50)
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.14. IndemnificationTo the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Insert Click LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and agents from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:- Your use or misuse of ClickRoutine
- Your automations, imported packages, exports, prompts, or AI provider usage
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of applicable law or any third-party rights or obligations
15. Suspension and Termination15.1 By YouYou may stop using ClickRoutine at any time and may uninstall the extension whenever you choose.15.2 By UsWe may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of ClickRoutine if:- You violate these Terms
- We reasonably suspect abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, or security risk
- We are required to do so by law
- Continued service would create risk or liability for us, our users, or third parties
15.3 Effect of TerminationUpon termination:- Your right to use ClickRoutine may cease immediately
- Locally stored data may remain on your device until you delete it or uninstall the extension
- Support records and other business records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law
16. Governing Law and VenueThese Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.Except where prohibited by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or ClickRoutine that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and Insert Click consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.17. Changes to These TermsWe may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and may provide additional notice when appropriate.If you continue using ClickRoutine after updated Terms become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.18. Entire AgreementThese Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Insert Click LLC regarding ClickRoutine and supersede prior or contemporaneous understandings relating to the subject matter of these Terms.19. - Extension version and basic extension status
- Basic technical diagnostics, error information, or operational metadata needed to provide the service, troubleshoot issues, or prevent abuse
- Aggregate Chrome Web Store performance metrics that Google makes available to us, such as listing impressions, installs, and uninstalls
2.3 Automation Content You Create, Import, Export, Convert, or RunClickRoutine automations may contain, depending on what you record, import, convert, or configure:- Automation names, labels, schedules, URLs, selectors, step configuration, and indexing metadata
- Text values you choose to type or paste during automation playback
- Values extracted from page elements or, if you choose that feature, from the clipboard
- Run history, error messages, and timestamps
- Screenshots you choose to capture
- Exported or imported automation files
- AI automation prompts, AI traces, AI-sensitive field labels, and conversion outputs when you use AI features
Some of this information may include personal or sensitive user data, depending on the websites you automate and the data you choose to record, import, paste, extract, export, or send to an AI provider.2.4 Website and Page InformationBecause ClickRoutine records and replays actions on websites, the extension may access or process, on pages where you actively use ClickRoutine:- Page URLs and titles
- Page structure, elements, selectors, and visible text needed to find targets and execute steps
- Values you intentionally enter into automation steps
- Page screenshots when you enable screenshot steps or AI screenshot fallback
- Clipboard text when you use clipboard-related features
By default, this page-level information is used locally on your device to provide ClickRoutine's user-facing automation features.2.5 AI Provider Configuration InformationIf you use AI automations, ClickRoutine may process:- Your selected AI provider, endpoint, model, and optional vision model
- Your AI provider API key or authentication token
- AI-specific settings such as screenshot fallback preferences and sensitive field labels
AI provider API keys are intended to stay local to your extension and are encrypted before being persisted in extension storage. They are used to authenticate requests to the provider you configured.2.6 AI Automation Request DataIf you choose to use AI automations, ClickRoutine may send relevant automation and page context to the AI provider endpoint you configure. Depending on the feature used, this may include:- Your AI prompt or automation objective
- The current page URL or title
- A summary of visible page text
- A list of visible interactive elements
- Recent AI action history needed to continue the automation
- A screenshot of the visible tab if screenshot fallback is enabled and needed
ClickRoutine does not provide an AI model itself. AI requests are sent directly to the provider endpoint you choose, which may be local software you run yourself or a third-party cloud service.2.7 Support CommunicationsIf you contact us, we may collect the information you provide, such as:- Your email address
- The contents of your message
- Any files, screenshots, exports, logs, or automation examples you choose to send us
2.8 Optional Onboarding Survey ResponsesIf you choose to submit the optional "How did you hear about ClickRoutine?" form on welcome.clickroutine.com, we may collect:- The response option you select
- Optional write-in text you choose to provide with an "Other" response
- Limited non-personal context such as the welcome page source or extension version associated with the link you opened
We do not require your name, email address, or account to submit this survey response.3. What We Do Not DoWe do not:- Sell your personal information or personal/sensitive user data
- Use personal/sensitive user data for advertising, ad targeting, or profiling
- Collect or transmit your general browsing history to our servers just because the extension is installed
- Access data from other browser extensions
- Load remote JavaScript or remote WASM for execution as part of ClickRoutine's automation logic
- Review your locally stored automations, screenshots, AI prompts, AI traces, or exported files unless you intentionally share them with us for support or another authorized purpose
We only use personal or sensitive user data as needed to provide, secure, improve, or support ClickRoutine's user-facing features, comply with law, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.We do not allow humans to read personal or sensitive user data except when reasonably necessary for support you request, security and abuse prevention, legal compliance, or other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.4. Chrome Web Store Limited Use DisclosureClickRoutine uses personal and sensitive user data only to provide or improve its user-facing browser automation and AI automation features. - windows: to select windows, focus windows, open dedicated automation windows, and support popup or child-window automation flows
- commands: to support keyboard shortcuts such as stopping and saving a recording
- webNavigation: to detect navigation changes so an automation can continue correctly after a page load or redirect
- downloads: to save screenshots and manual or scheduled backup files to your device
- clipboardWrite: to support paste-related automation features and user-initiated copy actions
- debugger: to support optional trusted keyboard and trusted click automation modes
- sidePanel: to let the extension open in Chrome's side panel when you choose that UI mode
- Host permission "<all_urls>": to allow ClickRoutine to record and run automations on the websites you choose to automate and, when you enable AI features, connect to the provider endpoint you configured
Although ClickRoutine uses broad host access for technical reasons, it is intended to act only when you create, edit, test, record, or run an automation.6. How We Use InformationWe use information described in this Privacy Policy to:- Provide the ClickRoutine extension and its automation features
- Record, save, edit, test, run, schedule, import, export, back up, and convert automations
- Provide optional AI automations using the provider endpoint you configure

- Detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, misuse, or security issues
- Maintain, debug, and improve the reliability and usability of ClickRoutine

We do not use personal or sensitive user data for unrelated data brokerage, advertising, or generalized surveillance.7. When Information Leaves Your Device7.1 Data Stored Locally by DefaultMost automation data is stored locally on your device using Chrome storage or local downloads. This includes, for example:- Automation definitions, schedules, and indexing data
- Locally encrypted step values
- AI provider settings stored in extension storage, including encrypted API keys
- Run logs
- Screenshot files downloaded to your device
- Exported and backup JSON files downloaded to your device
7.2 Data Sent to Our ServicesIn ordinary use, ClickRoutine does not send your automation contents, screenshots, exports, AI traces, or general browsing activity to our servers.Information may leave your device and be sent to our services when you:- Contact support

7.3 Data Sent to AI Providers You ConfigureIf you enable AI automations, relevant automation and page context may be sent directly from the extension to the AI provider endpoint you configured. That provider may be:- Local software running on your own machine, such as local Ollama
- A third-party cloud provider such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Groq, OpenRouter, NVIDIA NIM, DeepSeek, Ollama Cloud, or another OpenAI-compatible endpoint you choose
We do not control those third-party providers' retention, training, security, or privacy practices.7.4 Data Shared With Third PartiesWe may share data with the following categories of third parties, only as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:- AI providers you choose to configure, when you use AI automations
- Service providers acting on our behalf, such as hosting, infrastructure, or transactional support providers used to operate ClickRoutine's website and support workflows
- Legal authorities or other parties when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the service

Imported and AI-Generated AutomationsAutomations you import from other people or generate through AI may contain text values, selectors, schedules, or logic that interact with page content in unexpected ways. We do not guarantee that imported or AI-generated automations are safe, accurate, or appropriate for your use case.You are responsible for reviewing imported, converted, or AI-generated automations before running them.Unless you intentionally share an automation with us, those automations remain under your control and, in ordinary use, are not sent to us.9. Data RetentionWe retain information for different periods depending on the type of data and how you use the product.- Local extension data remains on your device until you delete it, overwrite it, reset the extension, or uninstall ClickRoutine.
- Downloaded screenshots and backup/export files remain wherever you save them until you delete them.
- Optional onboarding survey responses may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to review product discovery trends, improve onboarding, maintain business records, and protect our legal interests.
- Support records and other direct communications with us may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.
If you request deletion of personal data we control, we will take reasonable steps to honor that request subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.10. SecurityWe use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including:- TLS/SSL encryption for data sent between the extension and our services or a configured remote provider

Your Choices and RightsDepending on where you live and the nature of your use, you may have rights regarding personal data we hold about you, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about our processing.You can also:- Delete or edit local automations at any time inside the extension
- Export your automations from the extension
- Remove or change your configured AI provider at any time
- Choose a local AI provider instead of a cloud provider
- Uninstall the extension to stop further local processing by ClickRoutine
